This article analyzes and introduces the structure of the positioning system of the optical disc drive and the position information servo system of the positioning system. From the aspects of tracking and seek of positioning system, the status quo of positioning servo control technology is comprehensively discussed. In addition, the digital servo control of positioning system is also discussed.
