我们伟大的祖国,已进入一个新的历史发展时期。实现高速度地发展国民经济,在本世纪内把我国建设成为一个具有现代农业、现代工业、现代国防和现代科学技术的社会主义强国,决不是一个单纯的经济问题,而是一个极其尖锐、极其重大的政治问题。这是因为,无论从国内国际形势或是从我们的根本任务来说,都需要高速度发展我国的国民经济。
Our great motherland has entered a new period of historical development. To develop the national economy at a high speed and to build our country into a powerful socialist country with modern agriculture, modern industry, modern national defense and modern science and technology within this century is by no means a mere economic issue but an extremely sharp and extremely Major political issues.
