近年来,为了更好的适应世界经济的发展,更好的为我国的发展提供高素质的人才,我国的教育改革层出不穷。而随着全球化进程的不断深入,我国高等教育当中的英语教学改革也开始逐步推进。而近年来随着我国的高等院校的不断扩招,独立院校数量也不断的攀升,为社会输送着大量的人才。高校当中的英语教学质量直接关系到学生今后的英语应用甚至是职业生涯。随着大学英语的课改活动的进行,我国大学英语教学面临着更大的挑战,英语教学对于大学英语教师也带来了众多的挑战,这一过程中需要不断进行案例研究、课程改革,不断的推进大学英语课程教学,不断实现自我提升,更好的实现大学英语教师角色转变,更好的推进我国高等院校的英语课程教学。
