橡胶种子油的色素和其它植物油脂一样,产生于种子中。当制取油脂时,因剥壳、粉碎、蒸炒和压榨等工艺过程的处理,色素则从种子转移到油脂,致使橡胶种子油呈现出这种或那种颜色。 橡胶种子油的色素成份和含量,尚未见到国内外报导,我所亦末对色素进行定性和定量测定,但据其在小试过程中所表现出的特性,未变质的橡胶种子油的色素,主要还是已知分子结构的油溶性叶绿素、类胡罗卜素及叶黄素等有机色素物质。
