2009年11月25日,由江苏省国画院、深圳画院、深圳美术馆共同主办的“笔墨当随时代——江苏省国画院院藏中国画作品深圳特展”在深圳美术馆隆重开幕,展览中出现了一幅之前从未面世的珍贵画作——傅抱石的《雨花台颂》,引起了人们的关注。傅抱石曾画过多幅《雨花台颂》,一幅于2006年在北京拍卖了4200万元,一幅被南京博物院收藏,在深圳首次面世的这幅《雨花台颂》,则被收藏在江苏省国画院画库内。
