Q: Not long ago, a shopping mall near my house launched the “Buy One Hundred and Sixty” promotion for only three days. My wife has long fancy a dress in the mall, knowing that there are also benefits to quickly go. To buy a lot of people, the mall opened to squeeze everyone inside. During the chaos, my wife was pushed to the ground and stamped by the crowd. For healing, we spent more than 3,000 yuan on medical expenses. Later, we negotiated with the merchants, asking them to bear part of the cost. However, businesses said the matter has nothing to do with them and refused to give any compensation. Excuse me: In the event of such an incident, should the business be liable to my wife and pay the appropriate compensation?
