我們的伟大的導师斯大林同志的逝世,是中國人民和全世界勞動人民與進步人類的无可估量的損失,我們都感到无可比擬的沉痛。為悼念偉大的斯大林同志,這一期转载了毛主席的“最伟大的友誼”,蘇共中央、蘇聯部長會议、蘇联最高蘇維埃主席團的公告,毛主席的唁電,中共中央的唁電,中國科学院以及李四光、梁希的唁電。此外,编者还寫了一篇“痛悼伟大的导师斯大林同志、加緊學習蘇聯先進科学”的短文。下一期我們將發表一些中国科学家悼念斯大林同志的文章。
The death of our great mentor, Comrade Stalin, is an immeasurable loss to the working people and the progressive people of the Chinese people and the world. We all feel the unparalleled pain. In tribute to the great Comrade Stalin, this issue reproduces Chairman Mao’s “Greatest Friendship,” the CPSU Central Committee and the Soviet Union’s Ministerial Meeting, the announcement of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of Soviets, Chairman Mao’s telegram, the CPC Central Committee’s telegram to China’s Central Power, Academy of Sciences and Li Siguang, Liang Xi’s electricity. In addition, the editor wrote an essay entitled “Mourn for Comrade Stalin, the great mentor, and stepping up the study of the advanced science in the Soviet Union.” In the next issue we will publish some articles by Chinese scientists who mourn Comrade Stalin.
