我们的职业教育还是缺乏对老百姓的吸引力,这个问题不但将直接制约职业教育的可持续发展,而且也将反过来使普通教育的“考试中心”和“升学中心”倾向进一步强化。一旦政府放弃对职业教育的引导,职业教育必然走向衰落。本来鄙薄职业技能的文化背景和传统观念就使职业教育在我们这个社会中一直处于弱势地位,而由于片面强调市场机制下非义务教育阶段受教育者也要参与买单,又迫使职业学校为解决经费不足问题而不得不老是想着让老百姓自己掏腰包。
Our vocational education still lacks appeal to ordinary people.
