The 5th China International Electronic Commerce Conference will be held from April 5 to April 8, 2001 at the Beijing International Convention Center. The conference will be held by the Ministry of Information Industry, the State Development Planning Commission, the State Economic and Trade Commission and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade , Undertaken by China E-Commerce Association, has been strongly supported by relevant departments such as the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation, the People’s Bank of China, the General Administration of Customs, the State Information Administration, the State Administration of Taxation, the Bank of China and China Merchants Bank. The theme of the Fifth China International Electronic Commerce Conference is “New Classic.”
