Wangdian Township, Dongming County, Shandong Province is one of the experimental sites for science and technology investment in the key beach areas of the lower Yellow River. The purpose of the experiment was to explore technical measures to abolish the production of dykes in the floodplain areas in the lower reaches of the Yellow River so as to achieve the policy of “one water and one wheat and one grain left in the first quarter”.
