Our hospital is a tertiary comprehensive hospital. This article retrospectively analyzed the 2261 in-hospital deaths in our hospital from 2003 to 2007, to understand the hospital’s inpatient deaths and the main reasons that threatened people’s lives, and to provide scientific basis for improving the quality of medical treatment and strengthening disease prevention and control. 1 Materials and Methods 1.1 Data were collected from hospitals in our hospital from 2003 to 2007, with a total of 185,023 inpatients.
