当前高职高专英语课程,已经成为重要的理论基础课程之一。当前社会经济的发展,需要更多会讲英语的人才。我国已经加入WTO,国际间的交流竞争需要更多的人才,这就要求高职高专的英语教学水平不断提高。从现阶段高职高专英语教学的处境加以论述,以摆脱当前困难为目的,共同探讨教学中遇见的困难,争取使我国高职高专英语教学跨入一个新的台阶。
The current vocational English course has become one of the important theoretical foundation courses. The current socio-economic development requires more English-speaking personnel. China has joined the WTO, and international exchanges and competitions require more talents, which requires the continuous improvement of the level of English teaching in higher vocational colleges. From the current situation of English teaching in higher vocational colleges, we should discuss the difficulties encountered in teaching in order to get rid of the current difficulties, and strive to make our English teaching in higher vocational colleges step into a new stage.
