文化工业是文化大规模生产的产物,对当下生活模式和消费模式产生了巨大影响。文化工业的弊端在产品设计领域的反映是标准化和图式化的生产模式扼杀了产品的个性和风格,消费者只能被动接受文化工业制造出来的产品。奥伊瓦·托伊卡的玻璃鸟创作可以看成对文化工业的反动,这些玻璃鸟摒弃了规范化的工业生产模式,糅合了特立独行的个性风格和北欧美学精神于一体,体现了奥伊瓦·托伊卡设计作品与众不同的美学意境。
Cultural industry is the product of cultural mass production, which has a huge impact on the current life style and consumption pattern. The disadvantages of the culture industry are reflected in the field of product design. The standardized and schematized mode of production stifles the personality and style of the product. Consumers can only passively accept the products manufactured by the cultural industry. The creation of the glass bird by Ewa Tojka can be regarded as a reaction to the cultural industry.
