《美术》和《艺术家》交换编辑,介绍两岸艺术,受到台湾和大陆美术界的普遍关注。《艺术家》在今年第2期发表了黄宝萍题为《两岸美术交流的新开展》的文章,对此举表示赞许,在谈到交流意义时,他说:“在两岸文化交流日趋混乱的状况下,《艺术家》和《美术》杂志的交流将起实在作用,滤去商业利益影响下的交流障碍,使两岸注瞩省视。”他希望两岸美术界的交流继续扩大和发展。大陆美术界人士饶有兴味地阅读了介绍台湾美术的文章。两岸人士还反映,大陆、台湾美术界的文化背景和遇到的问题,颇多相似之处,如何在现代条件下,弘扬中国文化艺术,是海峡两岸共同面临的问题。
