中华人民共和国已经成立40年了,新中国的统计工作也同样走过了40年的历程。回顾这一时期的历史,虽然我国统计工作也曾遭到一些挫折,但总的说,新中国统计工作是发展很快的,特别是近10年来的变化更大。这种情况同旧中国的统计活动分散零星,统计资料残缺不全相比,真是天壤之别。那么,为什么新中国的统计工作能够取得如此重大的成就?最根本的一条,就是坚持以马克思主义为指导,沿着有中国特色的社会主义统计道路不断前进。
The People’s Republic of China has been established for 40 years, and statistics work in New China has also gone through 40 years of history. Recalling the history of this period, although there have been some setbacks in the statistical work in our country, in general, statistics work in new China is developing rapidly, especially in the past 10 years. This situation is totally different from the scattered scattered statistical activities in old China and the incompleteness of statistical data. So why the statistics work in New China can make such a significant achievement? The most fundamental one is to persist in using Marxism as a guide and moving forward along the path of socialist statistics with Chinese characteristics.
