针对三本院校学生基础英语水平低、兴趣不够浓,加之专业英语课程本身比较乏味、枯燥的情况,提出三本院校机械专业英语图解教学方法,以“看图识字”形式为主,穿插部分曲线、图表,培养学生相关阅读能力和书面表达图表的能力。图表内容力求具体、明了、直观、形象和生动,达到“望图知意”的程度,使记忆效果达到“举一反三”之目的,使学生毕业后在实际现场情景工作交流时,更容易回忆起与课堂内容相似或相同的情节,使得相关专业词汇脱口而出。
