“梅西安现代国际钢琴大赛”是现代派作曲大师梅西安以自己的名字命名的并亲自担任评委主席于20世纪60年代创办的国际大赛。它的主要目的在于向人们展示、宣传世界各国作曲家的现代钢琴作品。后因梅西安要求创作一部歌剧,此赛事暂停。梅西安逝世后,2000年在法国政府的支持下,在著名钢琴演奏家、教育家梅西安的夫人——伊佛·罗里奥的主持下,恢复了此大赛。由于现代作品的难度极大,因此对演奏者全面的能力要求极高。
The Massey Modern International Piano Competition is a modernist composer named Messiaen, named after himself and personally serving as the International Contest founded by the jury chair in the 1960s. Its main purpose is to showcase and promote modern piano works by composers from all over the world. After Messian asked for the creation of an opera, the event was suspended. After Messianic death, the contest was resumed in 2000 under the auspices of the French government, under the aegis of the famous pianist and educator Messiah’s wife Ivor Lawio. Due to the great difficulty of modern works, the performer’s overall ability is extremely demanding.
