在我来看,刘秀鸣近年来对多重时空的探索与表现,是她艺术中最有价值也最具个性的部分。她采用切分的方法对自然空间进行重组,用多重空间打破了以往单一的空间图式。不同空间的重组和并置使画面更具有一种超现实的意趣,在自然空间中蓦然出现的人为空间,既让人感到陌生,又让人感到惊讶和兴奋,屏障式的分隔让观者恍如置入一座巨大的建筑空间的感觉,但又分明是在自然之中,这“几重天”的设置,真有“精鹜八极,心游万仞”之感。画家在空间的自由调度中使作品具有了更强的形式意味和更大的空间张力。——贾方舟
