南关大队的蚰包小麦亩产创千斤,已有十年的历史。早在1968年科学实验队的4.14亩丰产田;平均亩产创造了1101.5斤的高产纪录。1970年在县、社党委的正确领导下,我们实行了领导、科技人员和贫下中农三结合,用毛主席的哲学思想作指导,经过不断地总结提高,又不断地经生产实践的检验,推动了小麦生产的大发展,于斤田的面积逐年扩大,1976年全大队726亩小麦一季闯过了千斤关,平均亩产达到1,058.3斤,其中9亩,平均亩产1108.6斤(表一)。
