在美国进修期间,我参观过UIC的附属幼儿园、芝加哥大学附属实验学校、海明威曾就读过的橡树园中学、哈佛大学等许多学校,也旁听了从幼儿园至大学的一些课程。在听课过程中我发现,几乎每一间教室都有计算机、复印机、幻灯机、网络等现代教学设备,教学的硬环境可谓一流,但是我却很少看见教师在课堂上使用多媒体进行教学。就此向美国同行请教,他们回答说,多媒体等教学设备只是语言学习的辅助手段,他们多数是在课前备课或课后拓展学习时使用它们,那些设备主要是为学生开发学习资源、整合学习信息服务的,以提高学生的信息素质。下面要介绍的是六年级学生运用多媒体学习语言的一堂课。
During my studies in the United States, I visited many affiliated schools including UIC’s affiliated kindergarten, the University of Chicago Affiliated Experimental School, Hemingway’s Oak Park Middle School, Harvard University and many other courses from kindergarten to university. During the lectures, I found that almost every classroom has modern teaching equipment such as computers, photocopiers, slideshows, and the Internet. The hardware teaching environment is superb. However, I seldom see teachers using multimedia in the classroom for teaching. In this connection to the United States for advice, they replied that the multimedia and other teaching equipment is only an aid to language learning, most of them are in the preparatory lesson or after-school learning to expand their use of those devices mainly for students to develop learning resources, integrated learning information Service to improve the quality of students’ information. The following is to introduce the sixth grade students to use multimedia to learn a language lesson.
