夏是炎夏,尤其是入伏之后,正午的太阳就端直悬在头顶被凝住。蝉儿这会儿爬上大树枝头,扯破嗓子在不停歇地鸣叫。我们老家人将蝉分为三种:一种叫知了,拇指一般大小,颜色铁灰,身上、翅膀上画了好些漂亮的黑色花纹,振翅时便发生“知了——知了——”的歌唱。那时我们总是笑它们一点也不知道谦虚,大千世界知不知都一味地喊知了。一种我们管它叫黑牛,体型比知了大而魁,通体如墨,“知——”地一口气能叫几分钟,声音浑厚宏亮,颇有些著名男高音歌唱家的风度。还有一种叫防线虫的,“嗡儿——嗡儿——”地像纺线。那些年我很关注纺线虫,但一直没有真正看清它那神秘的身影,于是我想,它会纺线,一定也会像我们村那些姑娘一样长得非常漂亮。
