According to the British National Archives website reported that in September this year, the British National Archives and the British Olympic Association reached an agreement. The agreement decided to keep archives, including electronic files, generated during the 2012 London Olympics at the British National Archives to ensure the long-term preservation of the London Olympic Games archives and facilitate future public inspection. Oliver Cornwall, chief executive of the British National Archives, said: ”The London Olympics and Paralympics were considered an unprecedented Olympics in terms of size, scope and historical heritage in 2012.
