柴油机广泛地使用于欧洲各矿山已有三十多年的历史了。二十世纪末期,柴油设备首次在非煤矿山使用。三十年代柴油机车用于瓦斯煤矿。目前有2000台柴油车辆在瓦斯煤矿和其它许多地下非煤矿山服务。在欧洲对地下矿使用柴油机所作的规定已不断地有所改进。现在这些规定在世界上是最严格的。关于柴油机排气的标准,发动机制造厂必须保证新发动机符合事先对它提出的严格要求。
Diesel engines are widely used in European mines for more than three decades. For the first time in the late twentieth century diesel equipment was used in non-coal mines. Thirty-year diesel locomotive for gas coal mine. There are currently 2,000 diesel vehicles in the gas mine and many other underground non-coal mines. The rules governing the use of diesel engines in underground mines in Europe have been steadily improving. Now these rules are the most stringent in the world. With regard to diesel exhaust standards, the engine manufacturer must ensure that the new engine meets the stringent requirements set in advance for it.
