Abstract Objective To evaluate the prognostic value of diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) predicting the prognosis of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC), we hypothesized that the apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) value may be related to collagen component and tumor angiogenesis.
