采用陕西省林科所和内蒙古林科院提供魔芋材料，在黑龙江省泰来县嫩江沙地中心区引种的初步结果表明，只要采用≥２００ｇ种芋，选择中性或偏酸性沙质平缓坡地，并采取起垅，每株施０．５～１ｋｇ马粪，覆盖地腹，与果树、玉米套种等措施。在下种、灌水、中耕、除草时间适宜时，引种成功是有希望的，种芋年增量可达０．５～１ｋｇ，每公顷产量可达１２５５０－２２５００ｋｇ。
