The disease characterized by weight loss and anemia in sheep around silver mines was studied. The contents of 13 mineral elements (Pb, Cd, Zn, Fe, Mn, Mo, Cu, F, As, Se, Al, Ca, P) in the food chain system, sheep whole blood, The change of blood physiological and biochemical indexes revealed that the contents of Pb and Cd in the forage grass were high (111.2 ± 98.4) μg / g and (12.0 ± 1.2) μg / g, respectively (P <0.01). The animals showed hypochromic small cell anemia, the activities of serum LDH, ALT and T3 were significantly increased (P <0.01), while the contents of serum albumin (P <0.01), as well as pathological features of degeneration and necrosis of the essential organs and nuclear inclusions in renal tubular epithelial cells. Confirmed that the disease is caused by industrial environmental pollution of sheep lead cadmium poisoning
