引言我国幅员广大,土地辽阔,土地资源和利用状况亟待详查。采用野外勘查方法,需要大量人力物力,工作周期很长。完全依靠航空摄影进行调查,费用很大;利用卫星影像则比较适宜。用卫星影像进行土地利用现状调查已在各国普遍展开。以往主要有两种方法:一种是用计算机分类,其特点是精度高,位置准,易求面积,但费用大,可区分的类型较少;另一种方法是首先对影像进行各种光学处理,然后依据影像特性解译各种土地利用类型,其特点是能运用专业知识进行综合分析判断,可区分的类型多,成本低,但几何精度不高,成图比例尺一般为1:25万。
