6年前,曾因采访东营顺路到过华泰,当时只是惊鸿一瞥。6年后,再次来到华泰,看到的却是一个与印象中截然不同的现代化强企。华泰的变化之大,出乎记者的想像。当采访车用了将近20分钟环绕着庞大的华泰集团一周时,展现在记者眼前的,是4星级标准的华泰大厦、宛如别墅区的员工宿舍楼、郁郁葱葱一眼望不到边的速生林、“产业报国、造福社会”的巨大标语、车间里价值十几亿元的全自动化生产线和灵巧的包装机械手。一切都是新奇的。但这还只是华泰的一部分。在几公里以外,华泰还拥有一处全国最大的氯碱盐化工基地。在几千公里之外,华泰在中国两个经济最发达的三角洲地区都建立了自己的生产基地。和世界上没有两片完全相同的叶子一样的道理,在中国数不清的大小企业中,华泰有着自己鲜明的个性。这些个性,成就了一个从出身低微到世界瞩目的民营华泰。

Everything is novel. But this is only part of Huatai. Hundreds of kilometers away, Huatai also owns one of the nation’s largest chlor-alkali chemical bases. Hundreds of kilometers away, Huatai has set up its own production base in two of China’s most economically developed delta regions. In the same way that there are no two identical leaves in the world, Huatai has its own distinctive personality in countless Chinese enterprises. These personalities have resulted in a privately-run Huatai that has seen a remarkable rise in the world from its very low birth.
