芙蓉矿务局巡场煤矿是属于自然发火频繁的高沼气、复合煤层矿井.投产以来,采用自上而下顺序分层开采.自1981年到1983年,因开采B_2煤层时穿透B_3煤层采空区导致发火而封闭了六个工作面,损失煤炭资源12余万吨,造成B_2、B_1下覆煤层难以开采的局面.因此,曾考虑不采B_3煤层.这样一来,矿井储量将减少28.8%,服务年限将缩短23年.如果采用灌浆灭火的方法,不仅灌浆材料来源困难,而建站约需上百万元投资,吨煤成本将增加0.3~0.5元,时间不允许,资金也困难.为解决生产中的这一难题,试验组对B_2、B_3煤层采用联合开采以探索防止煤层发火.我们通过对矿压观测、采空区温度监测、通风参数测定等手段,积累了七万多个数据,
