马20块由于油层层段多、含油井段长,不同砂岩组渗透性差异大,加上多年注水开发,平面矛盾和层间矛盾突出,油层水淹严重,断块高含水井多,含水90%以上的油井占76.9%。断块剩余油分布十分零散,措施挖潜难度大,我们利用各种资料对马20块整体上6个砂岩组、22个小层进行平面及纵向上剩余油分布研究,并针对研究成果,实施措施挖潜,使断块日产油由30t增加到90t,产量翻两番。取得非常好的效果,对整个兴隆台油田高含水区块的措施挖潜具有指导意义。
