火彩是京剧舞台上的一种特殊效果,是舞台上检场人员工作中应当掌握的一种技术。火彩的原料是松香磨成细面,然后用马尾箩筛过,再配上庙中烧过的香头磨细筛过的香面混合而成。燃放火彩用的火扇子,是用表芯纸折叠成的。撒放火彩时将火扇子用火点着,用右手食指和中指夹住,再用右手姆指搌开使火扇燃着,把合好的松香面放在右手心,撒出去后通过火扇头上的燃烧部分,使松香面燃烧形成火光,这就是京剧舞台上的火彩。
