水稻种质资源是水稻育种的宝贵材料,辽宁省农科院稻作所保存的288份稻种资源在本省水稻科研、生产中发挥了重要作用。利用解放初期,本省水稻主栽品种多为3C—40年代遗留下来的老品种,如陆羽132、陆羽、兴亚、田泰、北陆4号和京租等。在解后的30多年间,进行了5次品种更新。第一次是1955—1962年,新育成的品种有卫国、
Rice germplasm resources are valuable materials for rice breeding. The rice germplasm resources held by the Rice Research Institute of Liaoning Academy of Agricultural Sciences played an important role in the research and production of paddy rice in the province.
