车轮飞速转动,汽笛划破长空,一列由青岛开往南京的火车风驰电掣般奔向前方。硬席车厢里,一位朴素大方的姑娘临窗而坐。她名叫韦伟,是某医院的眼科医生。长途的旅行使她很疲乏,她爬在茶几上一会儿就睡着了。当她醒过来时,发现对面坐着的一位解放军海军军官很面熟,好象在哪里见过似的。姑娘搜索记忆,很快就想起了这件往事……十年前,有一次,韦伟因事去南京,在车站曾帮一位农村小伙子上了车,并一路同行到达目的地。下车后遇雨难行,小伙子便替韦伟扛起行李送到家里,韦伟很感激.这时大雨滂沱,下个不停,这个小伙子无法离去,就在韦伟家住过一夜。
