病毒性肺炎是婴幼儿时期的常见病和多发病，病死率高，对患儿有严重的影响，其病原以呼吸道合胞病毒（RSV）和腺病毒（ADV）多见，这两种病毒可使受感染患儿的免疫功能下降，而抗病毒感染主要依赖于细胞免疫功能，因此研究在抗病毒感染中起重要作用的干扰素（Interferon，IFN）
