Switzerland is the first European country to conclude a free trade agreement with China. Since the entry into force of the Sino-Swiss Free Trade Agreement in 2014, the volume of trade between Switzerland and China has increased significantly. The recent 2016 survey data released by the Swiss Business Community confirms this trend and a large number of Swiss companies want to increase their investment in China for higher profits and sales volume. Similarly, the interest of Chinese companies in investing in Switzerland has increased significantly since the entry into force of the Sino-Swiss Free Trade Agreement.
