With the continuous development and expansion of China’s securities and futures markets, the crime of securities and futures also shows a growing trend. Improving the criminal regulatory system of securities and futures crimes is a realistic need to ensure the development of China’s securities and futures markets, improve the legal regulatory system of securities and futures markets and protect the legitimate rights and interests of investors. Recently, the Symposium on the Perfection of Criminal Legislation on Securities and Futures Crime sponsored by the Institute of Law, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Beijing-Asia Law Offices was held in Beijing. Nearly 100 experts and scholars from institutions of higher learning, scientific research institutes and judicial practice departments attended the conference and held discussions on the ”theoretical basis of the criminalization of securities and futures"
