福建省仙游糖厂是个具有三十年历史的老厂,日榨甘蔗五千吨,年产糖量六万吨,是全国大型糖厂之一。八三年以来,在经济体制改革的推动下,这个厂运用现代管理,加快技术改造步伐,开辟新的生产门路,增强企业应变能力和自我消化能力,取得良好经济效益。八四年创产值6502万元,利润699万元,上交税利2450万元,分别比八三年增长14.2%,78.45%,22.7%。八五年在八四年的基础上更进一步,工业总产值达7031万元,利润1000万元,分别比84年又增长8.12%和43.06%。资金税利率达78%,比全省平均先进水平48%高30%。仙游糖厂运用现代管理的观点和方法改造老厂、搞活经济,主要作法是:
