2011年12月7日,西藏日喀则地区吉隆县委办公室索朗罗布副主任根据当地村民提供的线索,在该县境内发现了一处岩画地点。他拍摄的岩画照片经吉隆县文物局旦增诺布局长,转发到了笔者手中。从这些照片可以判定此次吉隆县境内发现的岩画为古代岩画,而非现代人作品。这一新的发现,对于重新理解和认识古代吉隆或“芒域”(吉隆县的别称,多用于古籍)地方的文化传统提供了非常重要的实物资料。
December 7, 2011, Deputy Director of Solang Lobs, Geelong County Office, Shigatse Region, Tibet According to clues provided by local villagers, a rock painting site was discovered in the county. He took pictures of the rock paintings by the Bureau of Cultural Relics Dan Jiansongnuo layout director, forwarded to the author’s hands. Judging from these photographs, the rock paintings found in the area of Geelong County were ancient rock paintings rather than modern ones. This new discovery provides very important material information for the re-understanding and understanding of the ancient Geelong or the cultural traditions of the “land of Mansfield” (another name for the county of Geelong, mostly used for ancient books).
