在我国民经济发展中,外经贸占国内生产总值的比重不断提高,外经贸事业已成为国民经济的重要组成部分,并随着外经贸事业的发展,使其在国民经济发展中具有越来越重要的地位.当前,我国外贸出口连同国内消费需求、投资需求已成为带动国民经济增长的“三驾马车”具有举足轻重的作用.今年来,经历了东南亚金融危机的滞后影响,使我国外贸出口滞留在“零”增长的同时,我国电子产品出口却逆势而上,今年1至8月出口额达242亿美元,比去年同期增长26.9%,占全国外贸出口总额的20.4%.已成为全国各经济部门出口贸易增长最快的行业.更令人欣喜的是,我国计算机产品出口自1998年首次出现负增长后,今年前三个季度出口已达80亿美元,比去年同期增长71%,是1996年以来增幅最高的一个时期,并成为我国电子产品出口成长最快的产品门类.
