第十一章飞越驼峰,穿越“死亡航线”1942年3月,日寇攻占仰光,滇缅公路有被切断的危险。美援的大批物资以每月一万吨计,急需运到中国。中国航空委员会成立空运司令部,负责空运指挥。从中国空运远征军出国,从缅甸空运军用物资回来,这一艰巨任务,就落到空军运输大队的头上。中美空军混合团参加空运工作,我也是成员之一。
