和排演现代剧目不同,导演在排演古典名著时,总想架设~座沟通古典名著和当代观众的桥梁,这对导演的创造活力是一种考验。今年3月,当我为煤矿文工团话剧团导演莎士比亚著名喜剧《仲夏夜之梦》时,面临的正是这样的绣惑。我希望通过这种作法,既展现《仲》剧的独特的魅力,又能使今天的中国观众欣然接受,当然,最好还能体现一点我这个导演的创作个性。我想在这三者的统一中,达到忠于原著的目的。
