根据国外学者Vickis.Helgeson的观点,性别角色的研究大致经历了四个历史阶段,1894-1936年,男女智力差异的研究;1936-1954年,性别角色作为人格特质的研究;1954-1982年,性别角色类型及双性化的研究;1982至今,性别角色多维度及性别角色社会化的研究。目前,国内有关性别角色的研究大多停留在第三阶段,所采用的方法也较为单一,本文简要回顾了性别角色的研究历史,介绍了当今国外性别角色研究的理论取向,希望能够给国内相关领域的学者一定的启示。
According to the foreign scholar Vickis.Helgeson, the study of gender roles has generally gone through four historical stages, from 1894 to 1936, the study of the differences between men and women; from 1936 to 1954, the study of gender roles as personality traits; from 1954 to 1982, Gender role types and the study of gender; from 1982 to now, the multi-dimensional gender roles and gender role of social research. At present, most of the studies on gender roles in China stay in the third stage, and the methods used are relatively simple. This article briefly reviews the history of gender roles, introduces the theoretical orientation of gender roles in foreign countries today, Some scholars of enlightenment.
