一、构造区的定义、级别及其划分根据构造区是地壳中各个具有不同大地构造性质的地区,或者是大地构造性质虽同而地质发展史不同或不大相同的地区。依它们之间差异的大小,构造区可以分为大小各级;凡级别愈高者其间差别愈大。第一级构造区是大地构造性质不同的地区,目前所知共有三种,即地槽区、地台区及地洼区(原称“活化区”或“活化地台”),它们是地壳的基本构造单元。一般地说,无论在属于何种基本构造单元的一个构造区内,如研究程度容许,都可以根据地质发展史的不同程度的差异以及所包括范围的大小,分别依次划分为各级分区。
