玉米是我区的主要粮食作物,播种面积一般在300万亩左右,约占粮食作物播种面积的40％,而产量则占粮食总产的一半以上。提高玉米单产,对增加我区粮食总产,加快发展畜牧业,建设牧业基地均具有十分重要意义。最近几年,我区粮食生产有发展,推广杂交包谷是一项重要措施。到1984年,全区推广杂交玉米34万多亩,比1983年的14.6万多亩增
Corn is the main food crop in our region. The sown area is generally about 3 million mu, accounting for about 40% of the sown area of food crops, while the output accounts for more than half of the total grain output.
