佛教是中国文化的重要组成部分,佛教中国化的进程对中国古代哲学、文学、艺术等文化形态,都产生了极其深远的影响,对中国古代小说的影响尤其巨大,归纳起来,这些影响涉及小说的地位、写作题材、情节内容等诸多方面。梳理分析佛教中国化对小说发展的关系,对于中国古代小说的特点研究具有重要意义。
