前几年,公共汽车上的扶手都是塑料管做的。塑料传热慢,在冬天,乘客即使抓住扶手,也不会感到冰凉彻骨。但塑料遇冷变脆,又易老化,强度也较低,损坏率很高,需经常更换。因此,这几年许多公共汽车运输单位就把车上的扶手都换成了铁管。这样,强度提高了,但因铁管传热快,到冬天乘客又难免有抓扶手如握寒冰之感了。
