At the just-concluded Fifth Annual Conference of China Metallurgical Research Association, Secretary-General Pu Haiqing delivered an important speech titled “Strengthening the Improvement of Ideological and Political Work to Ensure the Smooth Implementation of the Reform and Development Goals of Metallurgical Enterprises.” In his speech, Director Pu addressed the development opportunities and harsh challenges confronting the metallurgical industry. He proposed that the total amount of control over the metallurgical industry should be adjusted, the structure should be adjusted and the ideological and political work should be improved and improved
