在模鍛錘上进行热模鍛,是鍛造工艺中比较先进的方法,能提高鍛造生产率,改善鍛件質量和节省钢料。但是,因为鍛模需要耗用大量的合金鋼,它的制造过程又相当复杂;所以鍛模的成本很高,而且只能在大、中批鍛造生产时应用热模鍛先进工艺,小批生产采用模鍛往往是不經济的。为了节約我国目前还很缺少的合金鍛模钢,并使热模鍛工艺有可能应用到小批生产上去,有必要改进現有的鍛模結构。这里介紹的,是我厂鍛工車间学习了
