Determining MICs is an effective way to assess antifungal susceptibility and determine treatment regimens. We measured the sensitivity of 80 strains of Candida and 20 strains of Cryptococcus neoformans to the triazole antifungal fluconazole using the microdilution method. The results showed that 40 strains of Candida albicans were sensitive (76.92%), 7 were resistant and 5 were medium. Candida krusei almost all drug-resistant, Candida glabrata and Candida tropicalis most non-sensitive. The mean of Cryptococcus neoformans was higher than that of Candida. Candida albicans from vaginal discharge is more resistant than other strains. Electrophoresis karyotype type II fluconazole non-sensitive strains were significantly more than type Ⅰ strains. These results indicate that it is very important to determine the drug sensitivity and identification of bacteria in the clinical antifungal therapy and monitoring.
