午汲选厂是1966年利用兄弟厂拆除的老设备,因陋就简兴建起来的年处理矿石量50～60万吨的选矿厂。几年来,在上级党委的领导下,广大工人、干部、技术人员坚持以路线为纲,认真贯彻《鞍钢宪法》,大挖生产潜力,土洋结合,不断进行工艺、设备革新,促进选厂生产发展。选厂处理矿石能力逐年上升,1972年达到92.5万吨,大大超过原设计水平。
